Daari -> RE: Do you care about legs as much as upper body? (May 9 2008 17:14:35)

My legs have always been the strongest part of my body. Nothing gets me happier than seeing a large amount of weight being 'pushed' by myself. I therefore love training legs

My legs progress well, strength and size. So I enjoy training them, and like to push myself.

Mick/PL you say hitting stuff twice a week helps bring it on, but i know several guys that have switched to training each bodypart once everytwo weeks and are growing like never before!

What ever works, works. I found I was undertraining my chest. Bench has improved to 180k 1 RM from 140k. I have no complaints!

BARBUDA -> RE: Do you care about legs as much as upper body? (May 9 2008 19:49:32)

I guess so - I train upper body 2x weekly and lower body 2x weekly.

Dwarfenegger -> RE: Do you care about legs as much as upper body? (May 9 2008 20:49:17)

I put the same amount of effort into every muscle i train, except for biceps, where i do 4 sets of barbell curls every 2 weeks..

JohnOvManchester -> RE: Do you care about legs as much as upper body? (May 9 2008 21:39:21)

My legs are terrible, however I train them with the same importance as everywhere else
Chest and legs are slow to grow... so in a way they are the most important areas as they are my worst

Yes I say they are, and they have IMO been the thing that have grown best for me. 1.5 inches in the past 3 months

I probably only care so much because my dad said I had to train them, as I didnt want to end up with ' a huge chest but tiny sparrow legs'

And that is why I squat [:)]

I've seen u squat and u have some fcuking strong legs for your age! You hack squat more then guys I know who have been training for years and your technique is impeccable!

Thanks for the compliment Pete....but I couldnt have done it without your expert tuition [:D]

Paracelsus -> RE: Do you care about legs as much as upper body? (May 9 2008 22:22:51)

I usually hate training them, well, squatting anyway, but at the moment I'm enjoying front squatting. Always enjoy deadlifting.

If I was a bodybuilder I wouldn't care about them as much as upper body no.

yeah i know mate, i keep thinking about trying something new for a few lagging parts, but the worry of wasting a few months training to find out stops me lol
