Primo Turkey serial no 13590 (hi Bbigman!)
-
08 May 2008 22:37
Hi everyone & Bbigman I'd like to check this particular Primo amp with you all (see images for details). I used to be an expert on the Spanish ones but that was a whie ago. I'm used to serials numbers ending with a letter and of course a pharmacy stamp. These seem to be legit but have the seri no 13590 and miss a pharmacy (price) stamp. What is your opinion?

There is a way to tell if the primo you have is legitimate. Put a drop on your tounge and if it gives a slight numbing effect then it's real. Also, watch out for the ones with the red writing on them, some with a white dot and others with red. These are the ones that are being counterfitted. The new ones have green writing on them and are in block printing, not script.

And too expensive to be true, pharmacy prices around 8 euro/amp or more. I told other people I don't trust the ones I posted pics from in this thread because of the missing letter at the end of the serial nr and the missing pricing stamps. If somebody can confirm my doubts or prove they're okay, with some motivation, it would be great.

Most people I know bought them in a Turkish pharmacy but as long as you don't speak their language, you're just another heavyweight tourist that likes to buy cheap roids and you're their target to sell their fake stuff.

Unless you can source it direct - I would avoid at all costs

ORIGINAL: mick_the_brick Unless you can source it direct - I would avoid at all costs That is the problem; I would never but these are bought from a VERY reliable source. The only thing is that my experience on the fake Primos issues is a bit longer so he asked me to confirm it.

I dont find this to be true..I live in Thailand for 3-4 months of the year for the past 5 years and everything i have had is of top quality...Infact they always go out of their way to get whatever.. But as somebody who is resident there you will have picked up the better places to go etc I presume you don't go into the more touristy areas to buy your gear, which I guess is more what I meant (but didn't make clear). In my extensive experience of the place most of the pharmacies in these areas sell crap and I personally wouldn't recommend anyone picking up gear there unless they a) really knew their stuff or b) happy to buy UG stuff which a lot of the pharmacies stock, as I'm sure you know. Anyway back to the matter at hand I'd definitely not buy Turkish Primo there!
