bigmart -> Diet and first injectable cycle (May 8 2008 22:39:06)

guys - about to start my 1st deca cycle with dbol - done a couple of dbol only cycles before and went well. Advice on diet please - think ive got it sorted but want to make sure i get most out of cycle so typical food intake per day is as follows:

8.30 breakfast - 6 large eggs scrambled (3 yolks) 2 slices rye bread with low fat jam
mug coffee

10 - mid morning - protein shake - banana

12.30 - 250g brown rice 250g chicken breast (small amount sweet sour sauce or similar)

15.30 - 250g chicken breast 200g cottage cheese, couple rice cakes

18.00 train - immediately after - protein/carb shake

20.00 dinner - 250g salmon, grilled cherry tomatoes, spinach, 3/4 boiled potatoes glass
fresh orange juice

22.00 before bed - protein shake 200g cottage cheese with blueberries/rasberries mixed in

take in 1.5litre water during day

Advice as to what I should add in/change to get best out of cycle strongly appreciated- prob is - if i drink more water it saps my appetite! - do i need to take in more carbs - if so when?!

Also when to start steroid cycle - i am thinking towards the end of my training cycle when the squats and deadlifts etc are getting to their heaviest and i need to move into 'new weight territory' to gain on my previous cycles best weight. Previous dbol only cycles i think i started too early when weights were not that heavy - should have waited till later in cycle when i really need the assistance! ADVICE PLEASE!

Cheers lads

Hi - welcome to MT [sm=wave.gif]

Your post would probably be better in the Diet & Nutrition section - it'll get more answers there.

12.30 and 15.30 meals - reduce the amount of chicken there, 250g is a bit too much protein in 1 sitting.

Your diet is very low on healthy fats and EFAs...

Foods to eat for omega 3 content -

Flax seeds, flax oil, walnuts, salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines, anchovies, pilchards.

Foods to eat for omega 6 content -

Walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, almonds, rape seed, soybeans, olive oil, grapeseed oil, pine nuts, pistachio nuts, borage oil, chestnut oil.

Foods to eat for omega 9 content -

Canola oil, sunflower oil, olives, avocados, almonds, peanuts, sesame oil, pecans, pistachio nuts, cashews, hazlenuts, macadamia nuts.

Gaz, didn't you spot "20.00 dinner - 250g salmon,....."? For once, I don't have to say the usual! [:D]

thanks - so OoOGAZOoO - you think i am taking in too much protein - I eat a lot of fish - particularly salmon which i thought was rich in essential fatty acids - are you saying i am getting enough quantity but i need to basically intro more fat - of the healthy kind - oily fish , avocado's etc

If your eating oily fish daily then your o3 requirements will be met.

It is, sorry, i didn't see the salmon in your diet.

That will be fine for your omega 3 intake.
