Pretty much every day since last Thursday (1st May) When my Dad passed away

Just when I think I am getting it together , something will happen and I'll think "ah , must ring dad and tell him about this" - then it dawns on me and I am back to square one

Funeral Monday , hopefully this will help

The last time i had a proper cry was when me and 5 mates carried our mate in his coffin to the grave.

This was 2 years ago, one of the hardest days ever.

Apart from that, i tend to shed a tear over stupied things like tv shows, movies and last week watching my brother who is 5 swim 100m.

for me, 6 years ago when my nephew was still born and then at his funeral. I have never seen a coffin so small, a very hard day. But can honestly say I cannot remember crying after that...

sorry to hear that. I dread that day in my own life (make mental note to ring and visit parents more often)

Last time i cried was last month when my sister got married, not at the ceromony as i thought i would be but in the car as i drove home on the morning of the wedding as i was chauffer (sp?) for the day! Tears were a mix of being happy for my sister and sadness at "losing" what is my only sipling.

Very sorry to hear that DrZ.

I shed a tear whenever I read/hear about child abuse or anything horrible to do with children. It really hits me hard!!! So, I guess it was just over a week ago when the story came out about the Austrian girl who was kept under the house and that was coupled with Madeline McCann's anniversary of going missing!!!!

I Have now made a vow never to watch the news and never to get a paper (other than my once weekly local rag) and so far it's going well

last time was when i had a heart to heart with my uncle outside the pub after about 8 pints. this was about 3 months ago

we dont always see eye to eye never have since i started smoking dope when i was 14, anyways i remember saying can i shake your hand as a man, and then we got talking about my dad and he said some surprisingly nice things considering hes my mums bro.
then i started crying, wasnt blubbering but had tears rolling down.

before that as an argument with my mum, which i never argue with my mum because she is fcuking sound

come on lads and lasses, when was the last time you blubbed and why?

the last time for me was 5 years ago when i got jumped after 14 pints of guinness, i got smashed all over the place and didnt know where i was, i had a big cry mainly as i was upset with myself for allowing me to get jumped and effectively battered (stayed on my feet though) when i can actually do a bit when i am sober

anyone else?

I used to cry alot when I had problems with my ex gf and have cried alot for girls. I only cry for love, not for anything else.

Sorry to hear that, must be a very hard time for you and your famly. Hope you're all ok and coping and supporting each other.

I've been to 2 funerals this last week, its been an emotional week, both brought memories back of happier times and left me asking a lot of questions, but also showing the family that i still have around me that i love them.

Probably 16 years ago when my dad dropped dead on a Sunday morning and my CPR wouldn't revive him.

Then again at the funeral.

Then again when I saw what it had done to my mum.

Since then, nothing really gets to me.
