was going to ask why on earth you do it.

well this is a long story, i will try ot keep it short

the answer would be money

used to work for a guy who was big around a certain area, he lost it all and ended up with the doors no-one wanted (ie the 5hit as rough ones where the punters can fight) i worked there when they had a certain area and it was great
then some arguements happened and the firm split so the doors were all over the place

at the time i was saving for a house, i made many good friends during my time there, we sorted our own 5hit out between us (we still go away each year, theres about 8 of us who will come out at 4am on a monday morning if the call is made)

i now work better, more upmarket places in and around a major city where i can work differently (take a more relaxed approach)

to be honest some lads got brainwashed thinking the boss would turn up with his 500 men if it went off, i didnt i just earned my money and am now in my house with my ok car

Last week when a combination of things backed up on me, I was alone in the house on Friday night when all of a sudden I just burst out in tears, I think it was just a combination of things backing up and me not taking any notice, all of a sudden the emotions come out. My sister phoned up on the Friday night I answered the phone with a broken voice, she asked if I was ok? I tried to hide it but it was no good, she told me to get myself down to her house near Peterbrough, I didn't need asking twice, I asked my neighbour if he'd look after the 2 dogs, cat and parrot? Off I went for a few days, the rest did me good also it got me out of the house.

ditto - relatives can die and I'm OK - Dot Cotton's budgie snuffs it and I'm in bits.

Few weeks ago I think, hit quite a low point. I'm like that though, I feel right as rain now lol. Will be the same in a few weeks, I let it all out and start over.

A proper almost full on blub? At my dads funeral and around that time. But I can do the old softie tear in the eye thing loads - even with obvious tear jerker type scenes in movies and tv progs.

this vid and story always gets me

(Dick Hoyt) and son (Rick Hoyt, b. 1962) in Massachusetts who compete together in marathons, triathlons, and other athletic endeavors. Rick was disabled at birth by a loss of oxygen to his brain because his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, and he also suffers from cerebral palsy. Dick carries him in a special seat up front as they bike, pulls him in a special boat as they swim, and pushes him in a special wheelchair as they run.

As of December 31, 2006, Team Hoyt had participated in a total of 942 events, including 216 Triathlons (6 of which were Ironman competitions), 20 Duathlons, and 65 Marathons, including 25 consecutive Boston Marathons. They also biked and ran across the USA in 1992 ? a 3,735 mile journey that took them 45 days.
