wow some real detective work going on here.
this is how the confusion occurred......my horrible, nasty ex-HUSBAND (he was definitely a man, and not all due to extra testosterone he was injecting) set up a log-in here quite a while ago. I wanted my own but not being a computer-whizz couldn't figure out why i had problems creating another profile using the same e-mail address. So when he buggered off, he left me and the computer....so I changed my user name and here i am.
Thanks for the advice re: meeting men, the info as to what goes thru your minds is acutally very interesting.
The gym sounds like my best chance in theory but to be honest i've always got my headphones on and am too busy training to be on the lookout. I do catch guys checking me out in the mirrors sometimes but usually just look away. AAaaargh i'm crap at being single

I've gotta say SusieQ, that your looking for someone else after an 18 year relationship has only just ended, is a suprise.
I'm two weeks out of a 9 year relationship and I can't even conceive of the idea of Ms Junkie not being in my life (sick bag stylee I know).
I think it's far easier for women to meet guys or at least attract their attention than the other way around.
The ratio is always stacked in favour of ladies I think.
Look at this place for a start. If a woman starts a thread saying "Check me out", it'll get more hits than if a guy does it, plus with a load more tongues drooling all over the e-floor with blatant "Hey baby"ism's.
Not saying it's right or wrong before anyone starts whining, just that the ratio is obvious.
So SusieQ, just tell the guys you want a new man and ask them to send details to you.
Problem solved by your friendly neighbourhood e-pimp.

I must say I think it's difficult to meet nice men - often the type of men that will approach you in bars, or the gym aren't necessarily the nicest kind of men (or Maybe I just go to the wrong places!) so I sympathise Susie. Also I doubt anyone would approach me in the gym as I sweat like a pig in a pressure cooker, so probably not looking my best lol.
