tristram -> anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 2:47:04)

attended a bbq earlier. the host is an ex RAF guy who served his time in iraq as a helicopter pilot. hes finished now and is working as an eletrical engineer.

getting to the point. apparently before he left he bought a RAF first aid kit. it contained some pills, which one mate told me "they take them incase they witness something horrendous and it calms them down".

i was given 3 which i took over the night, they were marked with "AA". i dont know what they are, but **** me i feel on top of the world. invincible and nothing is going to bother me.

question is, does anyone know what they are? i dont, and i cant ask the lad who give em out because i have no way of contacting him.

sorry i dont know but just to clarify... you went to a bbq, and a man you dont know gave you a bunch of pills which you swallowed and then you had a nice deep sleep?

gotta hand it to him... he was origional lol.
did you feel sore this morning? [:D]

sorry, couldnt resist [8D]

tristram -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 2:56:16)

i havent had a deep sleep, onion.

i dont not know him, i just dont have a way to contact him. a couple of other people were popping them and reported feeling so chilled they may aswel of been vertical.

im still awake. i got given em by one of my mates whod had his fill of them and i said id like to see what its all about.

i could liken the feeling to smoking a massive amount of weed, without the spinning and puking.

and before anyone says it, no im not boasting. and i do not advocate taking strange pills.

it wasnt an old man with a beard and a tub of sweets was it?
if so can you tell him to go home as it's me dad

sounds a bit like ghb

tristram -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:03:53)

dont think its GHB, google imaged GHB tablet and it doesnt look like them.
someone else said it could of been an amphetamine but i cant find any images which are the same.

187 -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:03:54)

AA would stand for anti-anxiety wouldnt it?
I.e. they are uppers...

Jake -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:04:54)

Ecstacy?

187 -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:05:51)

does the RAF give out ecstacy in first aid kits? i personaly wouldnt of thought so.

it doesnt feel much different to codeine, except it doesnt have the drowsiness. its also like smoking a load of cannabis without the extreme tiredness and head spinning. within about 15 minutes of taking each one i was bursting out in laughter.

i dont. im just saying i wouldnt think theyd give that.

Jake -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:10:56)

It's unlickely but it kind I can see the benefit off coming up on pills if you've just seen a horrific incident in battle or something.

I don't kno, it's interesting though. There's a few boys in the RAF on here.

aye. im not complaining, ive never felt so great. i am just curious to find out what they are.

Jake -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:14:22)

Send a couple my way, me and the boys will help you find out [;)][;)][8|]!

wysiwyg -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:14:26)

not being funny but if someone had lost both their legs i dont think giving them e's would be frowned upon

im not clued up on drugs but i am assuming that it would be something to take the panic away, as most peopel die from shock, so if you take the shock away the peopel may not die when they realise both of their legs have gone

it must be strong stuff if i am right

tristram -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:15:45)

wysiwyg, its meant to be for the person who witnessed the incident.
rather than the person the incident happend to.

wysiwyg -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:17:25)

oops, i suppose that is even worse then (depending on the situation) [&:]

so the drugs would be even stronger

Scott32 -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:18:29)

Its probly just valium or somthing simler.

Jake -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:23:23)

Yeh was thinking valium, but didn't want people know that i've taken em, but fnck it! Probably vals.

187 -> RE: anyone know what these are? (May 10 2008 3:26:39)

i was going to hazzard a guess at alprazolam (xanax) good for short term treatment of anxiety etc.
surely valium would be a bit strong to have in a first aid kit?

edit, scrap what i said about it being too strong.
just read about it and its one of the most commonly prescribed drugs. same family as xanax.
