Is putting 0.7 stones on within a month normal?

I was reading about 2 stones in a year is very good gain.

Someone was telling me it could be water weight the other day.

My bulking diet is mainly clean and I'm 16 years old.

(sorry if this is a dumb question I'm just a beginner)

Do you mean 7lb (0.5 stone)?

It's normal to gain pretty quickly at first. I know I did.

Sounds ok to be honest.

Keep an eye on your gains and try to gain around 0.5lbs per week, that leads to 2lbs per month.

That was 5Lbs in 5weeks but i was fully clothed and after i had eaten so i guess ( Dry weight ) Would been around 3Lb gain so over 5 weeks would be 0.625. i think.

The something & something is glycogen & water and it's not impossible to gain 5lb of it in the first week of a new bulking diet.
Long-term, you'll be lucky to gain more than 0.5lb of muscle a week, so if you gain 1lb a week, half of it is likely to be body-fat.
