Weighed myself today: Lost - 2lb possibly more Waist - 33 1/2 inches now (down 1/2 inch in 5 days) As ive lost 2lbs possibly more im thinking i will put my daily calorie up to 2000, for today and sunday, i had initially been aiming for 1800cal daily, any thoughts? Should i be worried or could this be water weight as i used to drink zero water, now i have been drinking around 3 litres for 5 days, after all most weight is likely to be lost in your first week, any thoughts? I actually weighed myself on wed morning and got the weight 12.8, but is it possible that i lost weight between mon to wed, casue i meant to weigh myself on mon, then tues i forgot then weighed myself on wed, so in 2 days basically ive lost 2lbs, the same goes for my waist i measured it on wed morning too and its sat morning and its down 1/2 inch, is that the way it would work i dino? Maybe im using too much, i dont want to be using muscle?

A higher weight loss at the start is not unusually. Don't panic, it will more than likely be water.

When your carbing up again this water weight will come back on. Concentrate on - 2 lbs per week and your doing fine.

Yeah ok cool, so its unlikely to be 2lbs of fat each week, eg for this week it was 1lb fat 1lb water, next week it could be 1.5lb fat, 0.5 water, becasue i go by the rule more 2lbs weight loss = lean tissue/muscle

Water loss should slow down and providing you're not being too tight on calories or overdoing the exercise then muscle loss will be minimal
