when you are falling asleep does anyone's feet or hands or neck twitch and wake them up, repeatedly?
it does to me if im tired an start drifting off thro the day but when im in bed at night when im supposed to go to sleep im fine.
i was falling asleep on my lasses bed 2day just chilling and my hands and legs kept twitching every time i was nearly asleep, waking me bad up? is this cause my body want to stay awake of sumthing?

My misses constantly twitches in her sleep, it is the most annoying thing. When she wakes me with her twitcing i make sure i return the favour by giving her a sharp elbow lol. I am a nice person, honest.

Slightly more salt in my diet seems to help when I get these.

I get this, - sometimes I enjoy it, - often it happens when you're REALLY comfortable and relaxed and you fall asleep very quickly.

I half remember reading somewhere (probably bollocks) that its' your body intentionally waking you up because it might be dangerous to fall asleep so quickly for some reason (can't remember anymore!)

I remember on QI they said it was possibly some reflex left over from when we were monkeys to stop us falling out of trees.

I do this, but often do it in reponse to a kind of dream I have when ahlf asleep and hal awake. I sometimes think I am walking then I see a ditch in the road and jump very suddenyl. Other times I have had footballs passed to me. In every case these require me to jolt myself awake.

I get this occasionally, not twitching though.

It's like an involuntary movement, only 1 twitch, be it my arm or my leg and it wakes me up.

Out of interest, could wrapping oneself in black plastic bin liners so that it's tight against your skin like a rubber/pvc dress, be classed as crossdressing?
