I am allergic to all dairy including whey. Anyone have any suggestions that are in the same situation?

i'm not allergic to dairy just a little intolerant i think. i used to go through a couple of litres of milk a day which gave me serious bloating of the lower abdomin. i've since cut back and started using those little probiotic drinks and it has really made a difference. to much dairy can give you wind as well, so your not missing much lol

I'm allergic to dairy. In terms of protein supplements, I'm using soy instead of whey.

Something else I do, is use apple juice with cereals (such as oats) instead of milk.

What are the specific problems you're having?

Have you tried Lactofree milk?

http://www.lactofree.co.uk/

I'm Lactose intolerant but can have this milk with cereal no problem.
I also find that if I have a protein shake without any solid food, that upsets my stomach aswell. I'm fine if I eat within 30 minutes of having a protein shake.

I hate dairy for 3 reasons

1) I am lactose intollerant
2) It is muscus forming- I get a blocked nose off dairy
3) It gives me spots, it has hormones in

I have to buy fcking lactose free whey which costs loads more!

I am not really having trouble other then getting enough calories. I feel like most things that have a lot of calories have milk, cheese or whey in it. Mostly I was just wondering what a good protein powder would be. I have heard bad things about soy. I have tried rice and pea protein but not sure if they are any good.

What are your allergy symptoms jonny?

I have heard lots of bad things about soya too - it doesn't mean that they are right though...! Soya is fine
