hi
could someone please tell me when doing squats for butt is it better to do low reps heavy weights if i want a bigger butt.

It depends.

Some people prefer to include 20 reppers in their routines, others wish to keep the reps lower, i.e. 6-10 reps for squats.

Deeper squats will work the glute muscles more.

is it better to push butt out or straight up and down as almost sitting, feet together or apart?

You can vary your stance.

Some prefer wider stance, some narrower stance.

Stick your backside out, chest out, look straight forward.
