Can imagine this turning into a movie.
"He was an ordinary man, neutral to the whole conspiracy over the Illuminati. Everything was going well, until they ****ed with him! Seeking revenge, Jango called upon members of a muscle forum, "we have got to kill them!" laughing, the members didn't want to know. *cue fast tune* Seeking revenge over the Illuminati changing his myspace page to gay porn - this was one internet consumer you don't want to **** with! "aggghhhh!"*guns fire, sounds of throat being slit* "damn you all to..."*explosion* Jango..."
I'd pay to see it.

Doesn't matter. Let's take David Icke's most infamous belief: the lizard people. Basically some race of lizard type beings in 'human suits' run the world. Ignoring the simple fact that pretty much shortly after the human race started talking some **** started these 'upper echelon' type groups even if it were true just why should we give a ****? Would knowing, if it were true, that Bush or Brown was a lizard in a human suit mong change what I do on a daily basis? No. Would the simple idea of discovery be news for more than 5 minutes? Nah.
