i have been using this antibiotic to improve skin condition (removing spots) but i read that it "inhibit protein synthesis" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetracyclines will using this affect my protein intake for weight lifting? or is this a different method of protein synthesis?

Rejoice, for thou art not a bacterium. You have different ribosomes. In other words, it's not a problem.

A slightly better answer than the one I gave above: Tetracycline acts upon a a part of the ribosome. These are the places that proteins are put together. Higher organisms have a different kind of ribosomes to bacteria, so taking tetracycline is a not a problem. If you think about it proteins are used for squillions of functions throughout the body, not just for building muscle, so a drug that would stop protein synthesis in a human could be quite unhealthy indeed.
