Who else works in IT?
-
11 May 2008 20:01
To confound the stereotype of IT staff being sallow, pasty, weedy geeks who else works in IT? I work for an investment bank doing server and network support.

I'm not at the moment, but start my job next month once I finish uni. I will be developing various solutions, mainly web based at a small IT firm.

I'm a web developer. Too be honest alot of the people in the industry are your stereotypical nerds, i know of about five people including myself that aren't giant geeks and we're still very geeky, but we can pass for a normal person as well.

I work in IT. I do application admin I guess you'd call it. Look after an application and the servers it runs on etc. I don't mind it but the place I work is very dull. Can't find another job somewhere else. ORIGINAL: Dreadnought I work for an investment bank doing server and network support.
How did you get into that? Can you get me a job

Contract business analyst - and yes the developers do seem to conform to your stereotypical 'haven't seen sunlight' for a few decades image.
