I recently went to the Doctors about 2/3 weeks ago about this; I said i thought it could be hernia but altho there was no bump at that time i did explain it comes and goes he just thought it was a strain or something. I just thought ok well i have in the past torn my groin, so that may contribute..

But quite a bit of time has passed and i still have what is clearly a bump on my lower lower abdomen, left of my groin area. He also completely checked me out just in case, there were no signs of anything suspicious so I'm calm about that.. but this thing keeps coming and going; like ill get up for a shower and theres a bulge/lump there.. at times it can be quite discomforting and instinctively end up placing my hand near my crotch to try hold it or w.e but it doesn't help.. By no means is it excruciating (stating that since i have no idea what hernia would feel like) but before i go back to make another appointment does anyone have any experience/knowledge on this?

Same happened to me, it had been out all day and as soon as i get the docs the lump disappears. Ask to be referred to a specialist who deals with hernias daily. It took me 2 doctors visists as the first one thought id just strained an old operation. Ime, gp's arent clued up on this sort of stuff.

Edit... that needed to say arent clued up..
