Thought i should start a journal.
I've just got back today from Ibiza and realised that i'm a fatty, so i'm determined not to be quite so much of a fatty by the time i go on holiday again in Mid August,
I've been on this forum since the start of the year when i started back at the gym after a about a 6 year lay off, due to an injury which turned into laziness.
So anyway i'm today i'm weighing in at 17 stone 6 pound, at 5"7 that's pretty heavy, my measurements are:
Biceps 17.5
Thighs 28
Chest 47.5
Waist 44.5 ( round my belly button )
Calf 18
Before i went away for hols i was training 4 days a week on the weights with a 20 minute cardio at the end of every session. Since i started back in January i have seen no change in weight at all, i was bang on 17 stone 6 pound then.
Sine starting i've seen strngth gains and more defintion and hardness but not really any size growth, this i was expecting, even maybe losing some inches which i have a couple off my waist and about an inch of my chest. An inch increase in my thighs and half inch on my biceps, no change on calves.
So i plan to reduce my calorie intake and up my cardio. Sounds so simple. Well it is so simple, Its just the doing it that i struggle with. The gym side i love, but sticking to a strict diet is hard for me, not that i eat loads of crap, just that i find it hard to stick to a regimental eating plan, but i'm gonna try.
I don't know how often i'll post in here but i'll try and make it as often as possible with a monthly update on inches and weight gained/lost.
ALso good luck to everybody else on reaching their goals this year

cheers Raskol.
Well i started today, and you would not believe how hard is was back at the gym after a single week off. I struggled thru every set, i hope its not this hard all week.
But i upped my cardio from 20 minutes to 30 minutes so i got to take something from it.
Just started another creatine cycle aswell so this week i will be loading.

LEGS day, what a killer, with a lower food intake i was fooked. But i think it could just have been a bad day as i was struggling, hopefully i'll be back into the groove by next week, i thought i was gonna be sick on sldl's, but that is regular thing, in the end i just slumped to the ground in a heap

wednesday tomorrow. Nothing strange in that, but what is, is that i will be going to the gym. Its usually a rest day for me, but with my summer cut plan, i gotta put the hours in on the treadmill, and as i'm sure i will be losing my fat belly, i need to start doing some ab work to tighten it up, so i'm gonna try and split my cardio with abs, both things i'm not keen on, i think i'm gonna all it wonderful wednesday from now on
