All the guys on here posting all their fancy diets, why waste time with them. Just saw this advert.

http://www.slimin4.com/

18lb's in 4 days This thread might as well shut down now. I mean, I'm no expert but lets break this down a little.

So, lets say you start this diet, that's 2lb's in water gone in the first day, so your looking at 16lb's in 4 days, so 4lb's a day. A lb of fat is 3500 kcal. So thats 14,000 kcal deficit a day. Nigh on 14 hours of heavy running a day on an empty stomach. Who's gonna sign up

I know this is kinda spam, but I had to post it, it's just quite funny. Was quite pissed off today till I saw that.

Dave

I've seen this as a google ad on this site.

The problem is all diets do work but are they sustainable? Do they teach you to change your eating habits?

The price of this is cheap enough that people are going to purchase it as they will be clutching onto yet another miracle cure. 10 years ago I would have bought this myself but deep down knowing that the only real way for me was to eat sensible and get back into the gym.

But i wouldn't have said this would work. Is 18lbs in 4 days physically possible? I must admit, i think there should be some regulation on these kind of sites as they are just frankly dangerous for the person. I'd say they are borderline fraudulent.

It all depends on how much weight you have to lose in the first place. Someone with just a stone to lose would not be as successful as someone with 10 stone to lose for example. It is borderline fraudulent but there's no law against this unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) and the company/individual are playing on the vulnerability of desperate people.

Yeah, annoys me cos if i'd seen it last year, i may well of given it a go. You all may slate Mens health, but it did get me to realise the only way to loose weight effectively was to eat right & exercise. Ok, it ain't great for strength or BB i'll give you that. Should start a site, the truth about dieting
