I am a user of Diazepam, I use roughly 50-100 mg's at the weekend. I am an extremely fit athlete and am involved in various martial arts. Diazepam is a central nervous system depresant and is often prescribed by doctors as a muscle relaxant.
If it is a muscle relaxant am I putting my heart under undue strain when doing heavy cardiovascular exercise whilst the drug is still in my system? Obviously it would NOT be beneficial to train whilst on it but it may remain in my system for a few days.
Am I in danger of heart failure?

Yeah I can imagine! but as I say I dont train on it, I dont even feel it in my system except a little the next morning but I've not felt any palpatations etc, I wouldnt even think about training with on it, I just use it if I've had a "silly" weekend to help me get to sleep ;)
If I used it everyday I'd almost certainly be unable to train LOL

I sometimes train whilst under the effects of diazepam. I'm not aware of any dangers to this
