Your Pizza i been Trying to make this and it says :

* Crumble the fresh yeast into the liquid or mix in the dried yeast and sugar. Keep warm until the yeast is working well.

All i have is dried yeast, no freash yeast!?
Every time i go in asda i keep lookign but cannot see any "Fresh Yeast" am i miss reading you intructions? Ta

Well his Lordship is obviously too busy to answer this .... so I, in my capacity of bread making guru, shall respond.

It is not easy to get hold of fresh yeast, most unlikely to find it in the supermarket. You could try ringing the bell at the bakery instore and seeing if you can sweet talk one of the bakers into handing over a lump of it!

So just use the dried stuff, works very well. I use it for bread.

Yeah they don't sell fresh yeast on the shelves.
However, if you ask someone in the bakery they will usually give you a lump.
Failing that, the dried yeast is fine. Just activate it first by putting it in a glass with some warm water and a teaspoon of sugar and leaving this in a warm place for 15 minutes. This will make it work much better.

Cheers people So

Just Add TableSpoon of Dried Yeast in sugar in the 150ml warm milk mix and let it set for 15min then follow recipe as normal ? Cheers
