Hey all.

Just wondering. I start my day with 3 scoops of my protein impact whey in water and end it with 3 scops in milk just prior to going to bed. PWO is 4 scoops.

My question is, is this too much or too little in a serving? How do I know how much I should ingest at any one time?

How much is a scoop?

If its a standard 25g scoop thats far too much whey for any one sitting.

Doh!!!! Sorry

Just checked, it's a 70 ml scoop. Will the amount be relevant to the body weight of the person. IE a 12 stone male will need less than an 18 stone male? Right??

How much in grams is that though as it's dependant on the whey you use.

That sounds far, far too much though.

Why mate...??

Nigepoo has said a fair few times now that it's not important

how much protein is consumed in one sitting be it 30grms or 1 kg..

Not sure with whey, if your comparing eating 1KG of protein Fatty steak form then thats different to the fast acting whey.
It'll be absorbed faster and a fair % may be converted to glucose etc, if that happens its a very expensive carb source for sure!
Of course the debate on how much one can use of protein(grams) at one time is debateable and prob varys from person to person, does anyone have any rough figures based on studys?

With steak, its digested slowly so drip feeds the body and there may be less conversion as less is aborbed per minute than whey(or any other whey concentrates etc).

It basically all doesnt rush in and then get massacred, it crawls in like a ninja and kicks ass

Do you really need ~60-70g protein in one sitting? It's just excess calories.

That's my point mate - if you keep in check your cals for the day

does it matter that you consume 50% of them in one sitting??

depends on how many sittings mate

if its 3 then fine, if its 8 of the same size then perhaps yes

again whole diet dictates

Hello Iopener. Im fine thanks mate. Still going strong. Ill never be fighting pro or anything like that. Just do the training really. Get all the fighting I can handle and dont want with door work. Its a sort of curse Im sure but pays the bills as I re-train

R3261 - Im 18 stone m8 but if I lost a stone of fat Id be what I would feel was lean, lose a stone and a half of fat and Id be too lean.

Interesting debate...

lol, maybe not in the bodybuilding world.

The amount of work it must take to get that lean though and then sustain it. I take my hat off.

Ill lose the stone (that was initially a stone and a half) I have to loose first and then Ill look at extra lean. Na, Im lying m8, Ill never be that dedicated.
