I've not done them before - but i remember R3261 canning them a while back because of the vulnerable position they put the shoulder joint in (iirc this is how Knighty ruined his AC joint as well) and don't provide much stimulation. But then again i've never done them so i don't know!

Yeah thrown them in from time to time.... I didn't ever really get anything out of them apart from a good stretch & used them for a warm up.... As for mass ( if that is what your after) there are better exercise's around...Also You could be open to injury if you go heavy Give em a go though, you got nothing to loose & they might suit you & work for you.

I'm not a keen fan of any exercise that puts my shoulders in a bad position, i niggled my right shoulder at SENI (god knows from what) and i'm finding it likes a good warm up now.

can at least try them and see how you get on. Personally i wouldnt bother, its not a massive building exercises or even a very good isolation workout so i'd pass on them and save my time & energy for something else.

Yeah you do feel it in your lat's .... You need to squeeze your pecs while lifting the weight to the starting position... Also if you lay just your shoulders & upper back across a bench,( if you look from above making a sort of T shape) rather than laying on the bench... youl get more of a flex. Did you find it any good for a warm down???
