Ello. You still training at Musclework 2?

I should be joining very soon I hope. Is it easy to find people to spot you on bench? I won't have a training partner unless I can get one of my mates to leave Clissold and come train with me. I don't mind rolling the barbell down my stomach if I can't rep it up but I'd look pretty stupid doing that in a gym..

So back to training for good now yes? When is your next fast? You could still train on those days if you were to have massive meals. You can only eat once or twice a day right? Been a while since I studied RE..
Age - 18
Bench - 95kg (at 63kg)
Deadlift - 120 (at 63kg)
Front Squat - 92.5kg (at 62kg)

Yup still at MW 2, when are you gonna join?

In terms of asking someone to spot there is always, i mean always someone who is willing to help, no one has ever said no when ive asked them, and quite a few of of them really egg you on to get the last few reps.

Back in training for good, the 8 weeks out, when i broke my finger and holiday had an effect on all my lifts, muscle memory was totally gone. Which is weird as when i was fasting last year i didnt train one bit and lost a stone in weight, but when i started again i was still lifting the same weights before i started fasting..............is that right lol?

The next fast (Month of Ramadan) will be for the whole month of September. We dont eat from sunrise to sunset, but in between those times we can stuff ourselves. Not sure If i will train while fasting, i'll make a desicion closer to to the time.

Sounds good. Normaly my mates just try and make me laugh so I drop the weight instead of actualy egging me on. Last exam is on the 12th of June so then I guess. Cant wait!

Maybe very short sessions just so your body knows that you still have muscles and they need to be used.

Progress tends to be slower than most people hope but keep it consistant and you will soon start seeing the gains that you want

RE: Here goes.... Skinnyasian's skinny log - 24 May 2008 00:05
Back and Triceps today

Thought i'd do deadlifts 1st rather than last- was sweating on the 3rd set lol

Back

Deadlifts

12 x 40kg - Terrible form, was told by a huge polish guy that i was bending my legs too much
12 x 40kg - Much better form, legs slightly bent, lower back now doing all the hard work
10 x 50kg
9 x 55kg- Good last set, though my grip is letting me down.

Close grip chin ups (on machine)
10 x 10kg assisted
10 x 10kg assisted
10 x 10kg assisted

Lat Pulldown14 x 7th Pin
12 x 8th pin
10 x 8th pin

Low pulley
12 x 9th pin
10 x 10th pin
9 x 10th pin - Forearms totally dead on last few reps

Triceps

Dips
12 x BW
10 x BW
6 x BW + 5kg
6 x BW

Two Hand overhead tricep extension
12 x 15kg
10 x 15kg
10 x 17.5kg

Tricep Pulldown
12 x 3rd Pin
12 x 3rd Pin
To failure x 4th Pin

Overall very good workout, the deadlift was a killer, though as i did it first my forearms were killing me throughout all other exercises. Will probably carry on doing the deadlifts first and see how it goes.
