These days loading generally means 10g/day, but either way, if you're experiencing side effect nastiness, I'd lower the dose.

yes lower the dose and lower it by a good margin aswell. then work your way up slow. that front loading week long recommendation from the companies is old hat IMO and not needed. i never do it, nor do i miss it. i wouldnt bother. if 5g goes through you, use 2g. doesnt sound alot but you will soon work up to 5g and like you say, the runs robs you of goodies and dehydrates you - not good for the gym, or for people generally
