Jamie, go to tesco buy "Soya mince" under their "WHOLEFOODS" product range.
Try it with cold milk and some splenda, 50g protein per 100g.

not ever herd of them wot do they consist of then

They are both cereals. Quinoa especially is a very good protein source. You can cook both of them in a porridge type fashion. I do however get the impression that that's not what you're after, so maybe stick with cornflakes or rice crispies etc, but there's not nearly as much protein in those.

No its "Soya mince", vegetarians use it as a replacement for minced beef and other meat products.
However its just a dry flavourless chrunchy protein packed food, so adding milk and sugar makes it taste like a nice cereal.

You can add beef stock and make bolognese with tomatos etc, or whatever else you like. read more here

you too!!!
I find the cold milk keeps it crunchy, but tesco stuff is the winner - H&B stuff goes chewy and isnt as good.

If it's in the supermarket, i would suspect it's in the specialist / health food / 'free from' aisle. If not, it's deffo in H&Bs and other health food stores. A little pricey but it is the "Mother of all grains" you see

Is it pricey? Ive only seen it only at around £2 for 500g, rice is much much cheaper so ive not looked into quinoa.

Try the soya mince in milk, just a ickle bit

No thanks

I can't remember how much it is, it is a bit pricey though. Yes more expensive than rice, but rice does not have the amino acid profile that keen-wahhhhhh has
