It's a local guy and it was not. He argued that it was private property using 'but PSCO's walked passed all the time and said nothing' so in fact was not 100%. Truth is more telling. The fine etc amounted to over and above the value of the car so, as per the law allows him, he cut it up and dragged the bit not clamped into where he feels its ok. He did not remove nor damage the clamp.

You can see in the BBC video, baring in mind its still in bits, that it's patently not on a driveway. It MIGHT not actually be fully contained off of the public footpath but some part was on and that was what was clamped. The bigger issue was that he had sent in and organized what they called a 'sorn' Basically he'd informed the DVLA it wasn't being used and was not on the public highway in accordance with the law.

The clamp was removed and Mr Taylor plans to strip the car down for spares LOL
