The Dr. doing the medical will be able to check your medical records mate

But i doubt he'd pass on the fact you'd been using AAS

The Doctor will give you a check over, they'll do the urine test, eye test, blood pressure and all the other stuff that comes with a company medical, I doubt very much they'll look at your medical records from your GP, they are private and confidential even your parents can't get access to them without your consent.

I'm pretty sure nobody apart from you and your GP/medical team is allowed access to your medical records.

Ask at the CAB

I'm sure a 'medical' will involve you seeing one of your potential employers preferred doctors who will do the usual blood pressure/piss test type of arrangments and a questionaire.

whats the type of job?

yes it will be both, as in order to do it correctly he will need to see your records.

No (s)he won't, at least automatically. You will need to give consent for this to occur - have you signed anything to give such consent?

My suspicion is that you will be asked to give a history, followed by some basic and non-invasive tests. They might also write to your GP asking for details of any previous / existing health problems that would be relevant. If the company has a strict drug policy then of course this might also be a question that they ask the GP.

you will need to give consent for them to see your records, also you have the option of seeing what they send too.

Yes - thanks, the latter is something I forgot to mention. This is important as you can then make a decision as to whether you want anything released. There's also a limited ability to challenge what's been written about you.

I was under the impression that they could?

Do they need your permission to write to your GP for information?
