im taking creatine from a gnc, but ima buy some off bodybuilding website since its so much cheaper. right now i have chewable creatines (2.5g a wafer) and i was told by a lot of people that i should load. how? do i take 10 grams of creatine for the first 5 days, then for a couple of weeks take only 5? or take 10 the first 5 days then for a couple weeks take 2.5 then restart? bascially, ive never loaded anything before, so i want to know how to load, how much to load, and what time of day to i take my creatine? what im thinking is take 10 grams for the first 5 days, then take only 5 grams for 2 weeks, then skip 2 weeks and restarting, but am i taking too little for the first 5 days?

You can load or not - I find loading cheaper as you can use less - you can use the 5g for 5 weeks The time of day doesn't really matter

I personally don't load. I just use 5g a day. I notice an effect 1-2 weeks after starting. Loading may allow it to "kick in" quicker. I think the overall benefits (more mass, more progress in terms of more weight on the bar etc) of creatine come from taking it over many months.
