Hi all,

well long time reader 1st time poster i guess..!!

Anyway a bit about myself, i'm bang on 6ft tall and have always been skinny, and being from South Yorks meant i always got lots of comments about how skinny i was and it made me decide to do something about, so i started weight training around 3 years ago and just couldnt increase my weight so i lost interest and gave up after a year and a half or so...!! Oh just to add, always been massively into martial arts and i think the cardio from that helped keep my weight down, ive always weighed around the 72kg mark...

About 7 months or so ago a mate joined the local fitness first and got me to join back up again (was previously with living well!) and so i thought why not, i hadnt done any martial arts in ages and thought i could do with trying to get some level of fitness back, anyway, shock horror the months before chrimbo went by and guess what, no weight gain....

So christmas and New year went by and i decided to have a month off the booze in Jan and decided that i'm really gonna get my head down and train harder at the gym and maybe look into supplements and for the first time ever, sort my friggin diet out!!

after a month or so i noticed a small gain and hit an all time high of 73.2KG, chuffed to death i decided to keep it up and push harder, changed my workout slightly, and continued to improve my diet along with eating more regular......

So i weighed myself last week at the gym and have just hit a personal best of 77.8KG.... i always wanted to target 78-80kg and im soooo close now that ive increased my target to 80-82kg.....

sooo i just wanted to say thankyou to all those who gave advice on here which is what got me into sorting myself out, i'm making gains and people are commenting on how i look bigger so i'm chuffed to death.....

Sorry for the long winded post but i thought it would make a nice introdution to me as intend to get a lot more involved on here now.......

thanks for reading

Mark

What are your goals now then? ? ?

Why not post your diet in the Diet & Nutrition forum.
