where does one draw the line as to how much you let things mess with your head before it becomes seriously unhealthy and things need to change?

Depends on the individual.

Is it affecting your work, your relationships, your family life, your kids, your sleep, your happiness?

i dont have kids, and im not in a relationship (as i dont have the time and i like to eat and sleep on a night, so i suppose it does affect that) but i can say yes to all the rest

Are you saying that bodybuilding is preventing you from having a relationship? If so, would you not say that your priorities are slightly warped?

Well, if that's case, perhaps things need to change.

Obviously I can't tell you exactly when enough is enough. Only you know your priorities and your motivations.

Have you recently come off the gear? I got it really really bad when i came off. I'd check myself every couple of hours and think I was shrinking by the second... Screwed me up big time...

Everybody has those days mate, i wouldnt worry myself about it if i were you. Throw your pics up, you will get nothing but love here from the MT crowd mate. Even if there are criticisms, thats often a good thing.

Personally I feel that if you fill your life with thins that are, realistically, much more important than bodybuilding, such as love, relationships, perhaps a more fulfilling social life, then bodybuilding will become slightly less of a concern and you will be less affected by these delusions.

I get it all the time. Sometimes when i'm in the gym I feel huge, shoulder and chest full (before I work out, unpumped) and other days after a days eating fully carbed up, I feel tiny. Its all body dis-morphia. Its prolly because we are all so narcissistic!

how do you feel wehn you look in the mirror daz?

i look crap on all photos but dont feel like i look too bad in mirrors, wasnt nice when i said this to my ex and she replied 'well they say the camera never lies'

on a similar note, today when i went to the gym it was pretty quiet and i turned to my mate and said i preferred training in the day as i was the biggest in the gym, just a bit of banter.

then walked into the changing rooms and these 2 massive blokes were walking out, one has 21" arms, the other has amazing size and symetry, my mate just looked at me and said 'shut it skinny man' runied me!

It just worth saying as before

But EVERYONE thats involed in training to get bigger will have their small days, I htink you can go thru phases of it that lasts for weeks.

Take comfort in the fact that everyone here has these days, times, abosolutly everyone.

And and your measurements...pffffttt.....pathetic mate...really......do you even bother going to the gym.....what are ya....a friggin bi-cep boi or sommin..........

I can mate, or you can just do it yourself.

Open them in Paint, spray out your face with the spraycan/paintbrush icon on the left.

To resize go to 'Image' at the top, then 'Stretch/Skew' then put 50% in each 'Stretch' bar. If it's not small enough do it again.

Save it then go to http://imageshack.us and upload them, you'll get a link.

A few weeks ago I had a really bad virus and I was in agony with severe diarrohea, vomiting and headaches and I couldn't eat hardly anything for 5 days. I was throwing up water for the first two days, kepT nothing down. I was in bed for 5 days, didn't train, hardly ate, etc. Let's just say this was the worst time of my life, I felt like killing myself. Luckily now my training and diet is going well and I'm nice and full again. Nightmare.

We all get days like this love.
You aint alone, im havin a bad couple of weeks.
To me my belly looks huge <it is, my diets off the boil abit>, my arms look tiny and my tittys just look like they're falling further south to me.
Now i know the tape measure says im a very big girl, the weights im lifting suggests im a very strong girl, but the mirror and cameras tell me something very different.
I suffer terrible bigorexia.
Infact the only thing that makes me look what i want to see are shop windows.
You aint tiny mate, put it this way, your measurments would make me look twice, and probably make me go home and measure myself again and again.
How'd you feel today?

if it helps i hate looking in certain mirrors at certain points of the day

sounds wierd but lighting and different mirrors either make me feel happy or a right sad sack.
