your question could say a bit more about your lifts, how much reps? how you train weekly? Id say if youre new to deadlifts, train heavy from floor 5 sets of 3 reps and increase weight 5kg a week. start off light as well

f*** thats strong lol... in that case dont take advice from me lol. i dont know im not experienced with weight like that, but maybe you need to drop back a bit and recycle your way up? give the body a bit of a break from high intensity and work your way back up, do some speed work etc. also work out where your weakness is, lock out, breaking it off the floor, then work on the weakness by doing lockouts, leg work etc.

You say that have pulled 270k in the past? Why not adopt the same routine as you did then? If you have done that sort of weight, then you obviously know what you are doing, and I would come to you for advice.

Sorry trev1, I just re-read my post and it may have come across as a bit sarky, certainly did'nt mean it to be! Sorry, can't offer any help.

quote:
take 2 weeks off deadlifting and dont go crazy heavy on upper back work for 2 weeks then start back 5x5 and build back up to a decent weight again slowly over a couple of weeks! This works best for me..like a download cycle..at best maybe work on rows and such but not heavy, then pryamid back into heavier weights over course of a few weeks
