Coppers are bit like body-builders, wysiwyg. You get good 'uns and bad 'uns. Some i'd trust with my life, some I wouldn't trust with spit.

No excuse for this kind of behavior. Your team play against an very good international side and loose. Fine. I'm very sorry for you. But what the hell makes you want to take it out on the local people, the police, owners of any cars parked nearby and just about anyone you encounter?

It's nothing more than a drink-fuelled childish tantrum because they didn't win & the screen broke.

Sad thing is, we didn`t have to provide any of the stuff we did, we welcomed them into our City as friends and visitors because on the whole the place is like that, they abused our hospitality and sh1t all over it, they won`t get that treatment again should they ever have cause to visit again.

Totally agree. My Dad was in Seville with my brother and Lisburn in 67 and saw not one bit of trouble at anytime

Could it get any better? Justice for football as the "anti football brigade" get a beating and their fans show why no one likes them! They are utter scum and I am just sorry they have to come back up the road! They are an embarrassment and well done to Manchester for putting up with them! As for some of the comments on here lets not mix up Scots fans with these low life! As mentioned above, we took 100,000 fans to Seville in 2003 and their was no trouble! We won an award and supporters clubs were set up by the Spanish fans due to their respect for the Celtic fans!

I did wonder when other policemen would be running back to try and help their colleague.

He was lucky that he managed to get up and run away.

i think police officers nationwide are going to get taser guns, after trails they apperantly deter crime.

Looking at it I don`t think they realised he`d been left behind, still, wrong to do so and shouldn`t have happened, quite similar to how Keith Blakelock died.

Not been myself but spoke to a few people in the barbers today and they said it stinks of pee and gone of beer.
Wonder how much the clean up is going to cost, we should bill rangers.

Of the many, MANY, good texts I've been bombarded with I think u will appreciate this right now

All their fans will shout and scream
But they are happy with their team
Expectations they surpassed
But as per usual been outclassed

This time the huns have had their luck
The whole of Europe know you suck
End of season alls reflected
Celtic win and their dejected

Walter you must take the blame
Your team and fans disgrace the game
You'll never tarnish Big Jocks name
Cause we all know your Scotland's shame.

Pretty impressive I'm sure you'll agree!

Shocking!! How that policeman got away is bloody lucky!

What they neeeded was the Police Riot vans on standby from all day.
Add those supersoakers to the vans and see the rangers fans fight bk then.

dont think any1 could do anything really if 1 of them starts a fight then they all join in, what they should of had was riot vans, and the riot squad on hand with a few fire trucks to hosue the assholes down
