Going to be problems with these Rangers fans - 14 May 2008 15:58
My GF was shopping with her brother, driving home ad we are swamped by Rangers fans.
2 of them were walking down the middle of the lane (not crossing) so she did a little beep to let them know she was behind waiting to pass.

Then one of them tried to throw a bottle at them!!!
She had to go on the wrong side ofthe road to get away.

Why carn't footy fans leave "civilians" out of it? I can see some problems tonight.

some people just can't help themselves, their fun has to be intimidating and harming others, so, so, so glad I'm not on the doors there

She said she was pretty scared as there were hundreds of them.
I know it's not all of them that are like this but the ones that are could spark off a huge amount of problems just due to the sheer numbers of them.
If they all get fired up it could be a nightmare.

I hope Rangers win, I feel for the people on the doors tonight.

Rangers fans are some of the worst in the country in my opinion (and no im not a celtic fan)

Ive seen them live a couple of times and ive never seen such hate from a group of people.

There will be trouble drunken scottish sectarian bigots down in england about to lose to a very good russian side??? Of course there will be trouble

and id expect the same from celtic fans too!

I know its a minority but it doesnt mean its not a problem

Feel sorry for the genuine Rangers fans, just been into the City center on Deansgate, loads having a good time and being sensible, but a few p1ssing up walls, a few collapsed littered about the place, puke all over, wondering around in the traffic p1ssed up, throwing things at cars.

As I said, feel sorry for the ones who`ve come with the right spirit because they`ll get tarnished with the `nobhead` brush.

As for the ones that did that to a woman driver what complete idiots,i mean if anything you would think they wouldnt do it to a woman, how imtimidating it must have been for her.

Hopefully the police find these yobs before they course more trouble, and then ruin there night by putting them in a cell so they dont even get to see the match.

It will be serves them rights if they do,personally i would just want to enjoy the occaision.

On a side note, all the sperm banks in Glasgow are closed, because all the wankers are down in Manchester

Sadly a few w*nkers always give the vast majority a bad name.

My training partner has gone up from oxford with 12 others tonight, looks like the jocks have properly taken over.

i could not believe the amount of cars/fans on the way down the M61 ,and even more suprising -the amount parked up on the hard shoulder taking a pee , it was litrally every 50 yards !!
If you could see it , It wouldn't be subliminal.

Always a minority who think it is hard to get drunk and abuse anyone and everyone. If you want to go and scrap at the football then make sure you are scrapping with likewise individuals.

I had a massive argument with a couple of Cardiff fans a couple of seasons ago. Drunk and abusing two Wigan fans who were about 16. Asked them if they wanted to fight someone their own size and they were shocked by my Welsh accent. We are cool now though and more people should stand up to the odd few.
