hey there,

I've been doing weights now for about a year and although my all over muscle definition isn't bad I feel I could look better in t-shirts. I've decided I need bigger broader shoulders...just wondering what is the best way to achieve this?

First off, sometimes its genetics (skeletal structure plays a big part in how wide someone's shoulders are) but regards to exercises just still to the bascis - dumbell shoulder press/barbell shoulder press (be careful to warm-up the rotator cuff though), and laterals, side, rear and front.

Do you directly train traps? Big traps would make you look bigger in a t-shirt. But yeh, just stick with some shoulder presses and maybe a few raises for your shoulders.

Also work on your lats - wide lats help give the impression of broad shoulders, as does a slim waist

As said Military press, I also like Lat raises with cable to finish off
