I cook mine using Skimmed milk and add 1 tea-spoon flaxseed oil, tablespoon pure honey, and sprinkle some cinammon powder on it. Tastes really good.

I put raise in it. Quite nice. I don't throw loads in but a handfull. The porridge oats can be very bland so I reckon honey would also be good as mentioned before by Kuberto.

A good amount of frozen fruit, left in it overnight then just add milk (or whey and milk)

Porridge is bland, heavy, stodgy and boring.

But blend oats (standard or ready-brek style) up in a shake and they're easy to neck and taste pretty good.

Get some Organic oats instead of ready brek.
I like to mix it with some dried fruit & Nuts or trail mix.

Personally, i like Oats...but then I'm a freak

I love porridge!!

Bit of honey or Splenda, bit of cinnamon, Bob's your uncle!

Or if you have a load of egg whites in a morning too, mix it with them and make a pancake out of it.

I love my oats, i just add water a dash of splenda and nuke them for 2 1/2 minutes, sometimes i might add some vanilla flavour in them.

I like TIO's idea too may actually give it a go tomorrow.

Does ready brek count as porridge? I actually like ready brek but thought thick nasty porridge was the healthy option.

make sure you dissolve the sweetener tablets in the porridge when youre making it mate otherwise itll taste bitter

i find 6 sweetener tabs per 50g of oats and 200ml of water with a level tsp of cocoa powder is just right

also try it with vanilla extract and sweetener

Mclovin, readybrek is porridge yes just a finer milled oat

Its rolled oats, then they throw in aload of oat flour and vitamins/minerals like calcium etc.
Its also very expensive compared to "boring oats" which can be microwaved and sweetened with mashed banana and splenda, milk and splenda, milk shake powders, hot choco powders, salt for savoury options and a tonne of other options.

Oats, cold milk, raisins, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. So nice that I can eat it 3 times a day. The oats have to be the cheap, value kind - anything designed to be cooked is too hard to eat raw.

In fact, I've only just logged on, but I might have to go and eat some...
