Yeah, yours is Leopard. If it works fine then carry on. It's just the recommended is 2 gig.

I have had MESH computers for the last 10 years or so, imo they are THE best desktop computers out there along with the macs. i cannot pick between them so i own both.
which is better? they are equal in my opinion.

What would split the decision is wha tyou want it for. Mac is a cleaner operating system, if you work with lots of windows open Mac is the choice, if you want to play games though id go for a MESH and this will still give you the standard windows envirnoment which is fine but inferior when it comes to doing many things at the same time in a more work focussed environment.

Is it worth upgrading the memory then . I think mines 1 gig and seems to work fine.

Whatever you do , buy the memory seperate and install it yoursself, piece of piss to do!

Aye. I got mine from Crucial. Cheap stuff, but quality.

Macs are cool. Hard to move from PC's though. I still end up using both - one for design stuff, and gradually moving across to the mac, the PC for day to day stuff...like now :)

I have run Leopard on 512mb , works fine , just a lot of spinning beach balls whenever you try and do something semi-intensive - giving you "windows like" performance on a mac

Great buy,do it,once you get a mac you wont go back, they are awesome
TBH th first thing that surprised me about the Mac was the quality ive paid £1700 for a PC,in the past and found it all to plasticky but Apple stuffs feels quality and you can see were your moneys gone

I despise having to use a PC when im in other locations
