Good morning all,

i'm trying to cut my bodyfat % down and i have been advised to try the carb cycle per the below.

States below.
Height 5.10"
Weight 12 stone
BF around 12% (abs starting to become visable)

Sun - V Low day
Mon - Low day
Tues - Med day
Wed - Low day
Thurs - Med day
Fri - V Low day
Sat - High day/Re-feed day

V Low day = Carbs - 60g Fats - 100g
Low day = Carbs - 150gg Fats - 80g
Med day = Carbs - 250g Fats - 60g
High day = Carbs - 600g Fats - 50g or less

Whats people's opinions on this??

Cheers

No worries mate.

Well personally i would always prioritise carbs PWO when you are restricting them.

Right this may seem a little dragged out but i wanted to get as much info on my current routine on here so the people in the no can help me out where possible.

At present i'm training 4 - 5 days a week per the below.

Monday
Chest + Tri's

BB Bench press 1 warm plus 3
incline DB press 3 sets
wire flys 3 sets
dip's 3 sets to failure
rope pull down to failure

Tuesday
Back + Bi's

Dead lift 1 warm up set plus 3
Bent over row 3 sets
seated row 3 sets
seated curls 3 sets
hammer curls 3 sets

Wednesday
Legs

Squats 1 warm up + 3
seated leg push 3 sets
seated leg curls 3 sets

Thursday
Shoulders + Tri's

Shoulder press 1 warm up + 3
shoulder shrug 3 sets
shoulder T raises 3 sets
rope pull down 3 sets
skulls 3 sets

That is my 4 day routine however if i miss a day etc then i push it a day back.

Typical diet for a day at the moment.

Wake up 7am

7.30 am Breakfast - Oats 50-70grams with protein shake (MP Max) + 3g creapure

10.30 am Morning snack - breast of chicken on its own or maybe in a wrap + 3 Omega 3,6+9 caps MP ones

12.30 pm Lunch - Chicken breast wrap in some kind of sauce

3.30 pm Afternoon snack - Homemade burger or chicken in a wrap + 3 Omega 3,6+9 caps MP ones

Train 6.00 pm

7.30 pm PWO - currently shake (MP Max) with Dex + Malt 70grams between and 3g creapure

8.30 pm Dinner - some kind of meat with veg

Bed - at the moment i'm not having anything after my dinner however i am considering MP bedtime extreme.

My goal at the moment is to cut my BF % down which i'm currently about 12% (abs just about visible). im really pleased with the muscle i have gained over the past few months of hitting the gym hard however as mentioned before i just need to cut maybe 1 or 2 % of my BF down to get where i want to be.

Also i was playing football twice a week however season has finished so i was wondering where i should add my cardio in now and how much.

Appreciate all your comments!

Thanks!!

Add some pullups or chinups into your routine on back day.

Also, add some calf work on your leg day too.

There is a link in my sig for training calves.

Have your higher carbs days for your larger muscle groups, so back and legs for example.

The lower carb days for smaller muscle groups, so shoulders and chest, etc...

Shin ups, aren't they quite painful on the legs? ? ? I would recommend chin ups instead.

You can add cardio, add low intensity cardio though, especially on days when you are on low carbs, etc...

That is your diet at the moment mate. Not being funny, but it is going to change greatly on differing days (very low, low, medium, high days) for example.
