Topic of conversation in our office today is, with all the websites out there now on the internet that seem to cater for everything (social networking - facebook, myspace etc price comparison, moneysupermarket etc, classifieds for sale autotrader etc, email, hotmail, yahoo) even specifics for interests (like muscltalk) and no end of porn...

Is there anything that people do daily or part of society now that isn't on the internet?

a contraption where you can b!tch slap someone for typing bollocks.
This thread is safe but others would result in some funny web cam moments.

"James has just just pressed the slap function"

we all watch as a robotic hand extends from behind the screen and does a pimp slap across the chops

Not enough PA type websites - organise your life style stuff.

How cool would it be to put in all your calender events:

- birthdays
- meetings
- due dates

And get an email or automated text when you needed to act on it.

That plus it manages cash flow - tells you how much you've got left to spend / are worth at any point in time. Money in, money out.

Basically.....a big Sage / Salesforce / Outlook system that integrates with your mobile devices...and is web-based, so you don't have to worry about your own devices breaking / being lost / crashing.

I think there needs to be more internet sites devoted to the discussion of birds' tits by fourteen year old boys. What would be really great would be if half the discussion was about tits and the other half about novel ways of calling each other gay.

Alright fella.
After giving it some thought this wouldnt be 'too' hard to do with the use of flash etc.
The biggest issue is the finance side of things. you would have to input your ins and outs each day to get a breakdown of whats left, which would ahve been done when you input the data anyways.

The only way for it to be automatic would be to have it intergrate with online banking which is impossible due to various laws.

as for a calendar im sure this sort of thing already exists.
outlook already has all these functions and there are a million addons out there that people make. As for sms, this is also possible as you can use email with your phone.

actually thinking about it more, most of what you want is already in outlook etc, and in email functions, you just need to spend some time setting it up lol.

As fior what the internet needs?
Organisation, security and more accesibility, all 3 of which are being addressed (loosely)with the whole 'web 2.0' buzzword bollocks.
