I have just discovered these in my cupboard... says best before may 2007

will they still be ok to use?

i tried one and felt ok... but as it is in capsules it is hard to tell.

if it goes rancid is it useless?

It actually goes bad for you I'm afraid mate (as with any nutritional oil) - May 2007 = bin fodder
