mates just gotten off a 4 week cycle of epistane, and done his pct, thing is hes only 20. he asked me a question, "am i gonna grow any taller now that im off" and i didnt really know how to answer it except for say your not likely to grow taller at this age anyway..
my question to you is, seeing as that was his first cycle and hes off now, if his growth plates were still open before he went on cycle, are they likely to have closed now seeing as its only his first cycle?

depends on the 20 year old
could be 5'6 and 160lbs
could be 6'2 and 220lbs

a spurt in testosterone can cap the growth of the long bones, its what usually happens when the body wants to halt growth.
making that spurt occur artifically can lead to stunted growth mate.
at 20yrs old i'd not be too concerned, unless he's 4ft 9"

a spurt in oestrogen.......... it comes from the aromatising of the test though

so if you took a non aromatising steriod growth plates wouldnt be effected?, wot about a oestrogen blocker (if there is such a thing)

no idea but i think oestrogen will be high during pct anyway and if the blocker doesnt work for plates then it will happen during pct

Theoretically yes, a medical example of this is anavar (oxandrolone)

As far as im aware Epistane doesnt aromatise, so shouldnt be a problem?
I know many people who have taken steroids before the age of 18,
two close examples are huge and i dont jsut mean muscular they have the shoulders to match. i dont want to say its a scare tactic but it isnt as common as people think.

Shouldn't be any problem, that's if his body allows him to grow taller anyway.
