x2. Im a bit ashamed of that fact if im honest. Quite let down by how many people here dislike ethnic minorites, as i am one. Funny thing is, bet id get along with 99% of people here, like a house on fire. My very best friend, admitted he disliked asians before he met me, he was from a very sheltered area of wales, and admitted he was somewht intimidated by them. Hes like blood to me now, odd how perceptions change depending on who you know.

People who drive about in big 4x4s, landrovers etc, unless they have a very good reason for needing one  .

I assume that they will be conservative and 'good goody types', of course I know hardly any christians and so cant say if that is the case.

people who speak a different language around you. I was in the que in Tescos and some old Polish women were chatting shyte as far as I was concerned really loud behind me (prolly commenting on my fit bod though  ).

I think on the whole it's just a generalisation to be honest mate, it's one of those people vs person type of things.

It's not localised to people on MT, it's people in general. English people in general are racist and prefer their own to ethnic minorities, for me it's made my life very hard despite living in a white area and going to a white school all my life. Most people IMO, as in the general masses, are what I would call 'closet racists'. They may well not say anything abusive verbally like yobs and whatnot, but in their heads they judge people on colour and their decisions are influenced heavily by colour. Society is not integrated, it is segregated. Communities are divided based on colour in the main and there is a lot of racial tension around. It 'comes out' on MT because people feel safer behind the screen. But you meet these same people at the supermarket, clubs, schools, uni, etc. and this is what goes through their minds, and worse. Race and ethnicity has done, and always will, matter hugely IMO.

I'm glad he admits it and doesn't try to sugercoat it, he gets my respect for that. Pansies. The moment I hear someone whining about something I instantly switch off, which isn't that unfortunate really as 99% of the time it really isn't deserving of attention. As far as I'm concerned, if you're unhappy you *do* something about it. If I know you're a whiner, I'm unlikely to give a crap about anything you say, regardless of wether you're a lovely person or not, it's just how I am. 
I doubt I'd talk to a gay-queen either, you know, the members of the gay community who insist that everyone and their dog know of every second of every day that they're gay. This can include mincing, hotpants, crop-tops, female clothes and that ridiculously lispy camp voice they adopt. NO-ONE NATURALLY TALKS LIKE THAT, YOU ATTENTION SEEKING PRAT.

In fairness Christianity is what the persons faith is, that doesnt make them religious.....religion is man made.

MM it seems to me that you have a prejudice against white people..... would you agree?
A lot of the problems I think stem from two things.
1) An unwillingness (on the whole) from each ethnic group to try to fully integrate with one another (includes whites), as seen from most cities having areas that are largely dominated by a particular group
2) Media sensationalism which only helps to increase a division that is already there.

Ive always known this, i just dare not say it. People just tell you your being silly and acting like a victim, never walking a mile in your shoes and knowing how the world really is. I gave up moaning about it a while ago, im actually any racists worst nightmare. Why? Because im successful, ive integrated fantastically well, im educated and i have white friends who are like brothers a beautiful white fiance that i 'stole from them'. What irritates them the most, is that i wont drop to their level and dislike people based on race.
There was actually one who was a friend of a friend, whenever he came out with us, he would give me the cold shoulder. Eventually i asked him why, and it turns out he just despises anybody who isnt white, and hated the fact that i was so well liked by his friends. He went off on a rant about how i shouldnt be here, and that i shouldnt have a well paid job lined up, or a pretty fiance or great friends, it was a tad pathetic if im honest. He was never invited out with us again, and nobody minded!

Reminds me of an old git I saw last year. Pulled out infront of a line of traffic. They all slammed on their breaks and caused a small pile up. The old git then floors it and disappears!!!

Sorry furyan I don't mean that to be offensive to you. I judge people on an individual basis I don't automaticly hate people of a certain race i've never met. I'd say I sterotype more than predjudice as such, I may hold ideas or opinions of certain peoples but if I meet that kind of person I will treat them as any other and if they are a good person i'll have no problems with them. Certainly haven't been brought up to be a braindead racist but i'm no hippie champion of the PC brigade either. TBH I hate having to walk around on my tip toes not being able to say certain words to be honest I don't see the problem calling a spade a spade or a honkey a honkey as long as its not being used as an insult. To me it takes more than a name to make someone a racist.
