I’m about to start the Madcow linear variation of Bill Starr’s 5x5. I just want to make sure I’m doing this correctly as the weights look to low for the squat and bench. I’ve left out the other exercises for now Session 1 Squat 55 65 75 85 95 Bench 55 65 75 85 95 Session 2 Squat 55 65 75 75 Deadlift Session 3 Squat 55 65 75 85 97.5 75 Bench 55 65 75 85 97.5 75 The weights look to low for the first 4 sets on the training days. I’d say my 5 rep max for squat and bench is around 105 but I’ve reduced itas recommended in Madcows write up. Apparently it should take 4 weeks to reach my current 5 rep max. I just want to confirm I’ve worked it out correctly as it looks like I may almost be going through the motions at for a while, which is something I’m not used to doing in my workouts. Cheers
