I'm sure this is something that will affect everyone on here at some point, but I'm off to america for a month or so and I still want to work out. I wont have any access to extra weights so is doing 100 press ups really worth it? Also anyone out there who can actually do a hand stand press up? It's not so much my weight more that I'm just not agile enough to manage a hand stand without a lot of help! I guess 1 legged squats are good, any other exercises that you all do?

Subscribe Printable Version yep worth it you wont grow just help maintain. when doing hand stand press up do it against a wall, your back against it mush easier for balence. do sit ups, tricep dips, find something with a bit of weight do arm curls, pull up on something, door frame? or find a gym lol

You`ll almost certainly be able to find a gym. Are you going with friends? Do press ups with them pushing on your back, or sitting on it, fill a bag with heavy objects, just use your head. Fill a large bag with water bottles, its far from ideal, but you could do curls with it. Have a look through this article http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/article-training-in-prison.aspx I`d personally just stick to basic things, really high reps, with little or no rest. Press ups, go slow down, throw yourself back up as fast as you can, superset it with flyes lying on the floor. Shoulders, an OH press superset with front and side raises. Legs, get as much weight into a backpack as you can, and just keep squating for as many reps as you can. You`ll be able to find something to do pull ups on. Lots and lots of tensing between sets to get the blood forced into your muscles, it makes a lot of difference. Doing something is going to be far better than doing nothing at all.

A gym on holiday would be useful, but I'm not really going to a top-notch place (I'm gonna be in the desert basically) I managed to get the technique of hand stand push ups... was hard at first but I got a great pump once I managed only a few. What about Hindu pressups? Anyone think they're worth it?
