I left school about 22 years ago but got a school reunion invite on Friends Reunited yesterday. The school is being demolished and next month is the last chance to ever set foot in it and probably meet some of the people I was in school with, too.

Not sure if I want to go - on the one hand I want to belt the bully kid who stuck a compass in my kidneys, plus there's a certain nostalgia.

On the otherhand, I haven't seen any of them in at least 10 years and couldn't really give a rat's ass who's now a millionaire and who's got 42 kids.

Would you go?

If it wasn`t for a couple of psycho`s I suppose it would be nice to see how some old friends are, pretty much had the same group of about 4 friends throughout school.

On a side note the school bully is actually quite nice these days, still a violent fecker but if I`m ever out and he`s on the door he always gets me to the front and whispers in my ear`any cnut gives you sh1t let me know `.

Be worth it just to stand next to that bully with arms folded and chest out and look him in the eyes

Hmm....I'd maybe go if you knew his presence was assured. Just to see how he would react.

As for me, well, I only left school 5 years ago. Despite being 'added as a friend' on Facebook by about 10 old class-mates, I only keep in contact with one person who I knew at school and even that's only an every six months meeting. To be honest looking back, the whole experience(school) just seemed on big non-event really. Especially as the last few years have been fairly significant.

I probably wouldnt bother.

You spent your formative years with them so I would. Better to take a chance and run the risk of it being a shambles than rue a missed opportunity. Chance to spread the word about the business as well surely?

School and business are several hundred miles apart.

I get the occasional letter from the 'Old Boys Society' - I haven't felt the slightest inclination to go to a reunion yet, and that's unlikely to change.

My school year is having one in london in august but im not gonna bother going.

I still keep in contact with all the people I want to and cant be bothered with the small talk with the rest of them.

Plus due to facebook you pretty much know what everyones up to anyway.
