ORIGINAL: CheekyChappie I would say you owe it to yourself to read an alternative viewpoint such as 'Darwin's Dangerous Idea' by Daniel Dennett, as Behe is not a respected scientist and his work is massively skewed by his religious beliefs. having not looked yet at the other viewpoints I'm not in a position to dispute what you say, but thanks, I'll check it out

Jupiter's Travel by Ted Simon. Its the book that inspired Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor to do Long Way Round. Really good so far. Also making my way through a biography on Martin Luther King and just finished a book on Computer Security, though that was mainly uni related.

last book: 'Matter' Iain M banks current: '<I forget> the Asassin' it's a bit old-skool cheese, but entertaining enough I suppose.

I invented that... see that guy, he got like that because of me.... Very interesting to see every pro of the 70's/80's training plans and methods however. Just bought 'watching the english'

I know the guy is an NLP practioner so part of my mind is sceptical about anything related to that Well if I had my other books here, I daresay it would have stayed on the shelf. It's a weird one because I'm too cynical to even consider these books. It just seems a case of stating the obvious page after page but punctuating it with "this is working on a sub-conscious level...it's just that you don't realise it just yet". I'm giving it a fair go and whilst I understand the procedure, I'm not entirely convinced it'll do any good. I'll give you a better review once I finished the book and gone through the CD a few times. I'd stil recommend it though. When you're down, you need all the help you can get to pick yourself up, so I guess it has its place. I do recommend a book by Geoff Thompson though. The Elephant & The Twig. I'm not really into self help books, but this one I read cover to cover.

'the doors of perception' & 'heaven and hell' by Aldous Huxley. the former is more a document of a scientific experiment where the author subjects himself to mescalin, very very interesting read. i'm yet to read his 'brave new world' so that'll be next.

I read Bringing Down The House (What the recent film 21 was based on) and Inside 9-11 whilst I was on holiday in America. Good reads both of them, slightly different angles though Before that I read Muscle by Jon Hotton and Steroid Nation, both of them were very good. RFeading through Starting Strength as my Non Fiction book, awesome!
