hi, my brother is looking to start wieght training with me but i am not sure what is the best thing to do because he is 6' 2' and 17st 2lbs. should he continue to eat normally while training or change his diet, i wasnt sure if dieting would effect muscle recovery time???????????

he could change his diet to get better results but i dont know what he eats to be honest

why not get him to come on here so we can help him setup a decent routine and diet plan

he hasn't got a computer, but he basically eats **** lol i told him to eat lean protiens like fish and cut down on bad fats but i am quite new to this game myself TBH

well lifting weights and doing cardio will help him. If you can get him to do that for now its a step in the right direction. perhaps when he has been bitten by the weight lifting bug and his progress slows then perhaps you/he can come back and we can help tweak his diet when hes ready
