I'm looking for a cheap bench that has a barbell holder, and also something I can do leg extensions on...Is this one any good?

It's the cheapest on I can find, but it looks fairly sturdy etc.

Do you think it will be easy to do other free weight exercises on it, such as dumbell press etc, or do you think extra parts such as the barbell holder will get in the way?

Will my York cast iron weights fit onto the leg extension part of the bench?

Only reason I ask is because I got a bar the other day that my weights don't fit onto...

I'd get one that could do inclines, but otherwise looks good, and looks like it takes 1 inch holed plates... I'd want to know the max weight it could take though.

I'm looking at a different bench now and just want to ask the same question, will my York cast iron weights fit onto it? I decided to get one that could do inclines like war lord said.

Here's the link - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310050338436&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:GB:1123

I want to buy this todaay really so if anyone can get back to me on it quickly that'd be great!

Thought it'd be easier if I just post a couple of pictures...

Would these weights...

Fit on this Golds bench...?

^ Bump ^

The seller of the bench in the post above says it can be used with 'standard weights'.

Are york cast iron discs classed as standard weights? Also, does it look like a fairly ok bench?

I need to get a bench as soon as possible but need some feedback first, because I don't really know what I'm looking for...

IMO you don't need all that stuff, just get a decent bench and a rack, you will work your legs better from squats and deadlifts than those leg attachments.

So that bench leg exercise doesn't add anything if you're already doing deadlifts?

With the amount of weight you would be able to put on it I doubt it to be honest. If you want extra hamstring work do Stiff Leg Deads as well.
