Protein Absorption - 19 May 2008 14:02
Hiya all,

quick question - other than carbs; is there anything else that would help the body absorb protein at a higher rate?

Perhaps digestive enzymes, although the faster digesting whey is hydrolyzed whey- your body does not need to break the bonds between the amino acids.

Just as a heads up mate hydro-whey is only partially digested not totally. If it was it would taste pretty much like any other freeform amino acid
