3-AD Log - Week 1 updates inside.... - 25 May 2008 21:57
Right, well here is my Anabolic Xtreme 3-AD log sponsored by MUSCLE FINESSE.

First off I must say a huge thank you to Muscle Finesse for selecting me and providing me with the 3-AD and an AX beanie! It’s very good of them to select three members to trial AX’s new product as I’m sure you’ll all agree, and as requested I’ll be keeping a detailed log for the next 7 weeks.

About me

I started weight training when I started uni at the age of 18, at which point I weighed 8 stone wet through at 5’11. I’ve always been very skinny due to extremely high metabolism when I was younger (it’s still high now) and genetics – from the ages of 12-16 my doctor referred me to a dietician to get my weight up, which by the age f 17 was still only 7 ½ stone. I trained at uni for two years and got up to 11 1/2 stone at the end of my second year. That summer (2006) I trained very hard and embarked upon a premature dianabol only cycle, which helped me to 12 stone and I hovered around that weight until xmas of 2006. It was then I began playing football again (back from a long term injury) and I chose football over hardcore weight training for the next year and a half in which time I lost 2 stone and a present I am back to 11 stone exactly.

So you are now thinking: ‘Why are your running a designer steroid at 11 stone…?’:

1) I’m 22 years of age with 4 years of lifting under my belt. Of course my lifting goals and style changed when I started playing football, but I still carried on with the weights.

2) I naturally put on 3 ½ stone of muscle in 2 years, so its not as if I’m a complete newbie jumping straight into a cycle for the sake of it.

3) I have researched AAS, designer AAS and prohormones etc of the passed few years to educate myself as much as possible and i feel I have a more than adequate knowledge on the subject to undertake a short cycle.

Plus, from an aesthetic perspective I’m excited to see what results 3-AD produces in coercion with the rebound effect of going from calorie deficit to calorie surplus, in addition to the wonders of muscle memory!

Goals for the cycle

Goal: Bulk – put on as muscle mass as possible. Bit strange in summer I know, but I’m not one for abs and taking my shirt off…yet!

The Cycle

I shall be using 3-AD as a standalone for 3 weeks (4 caps per day) followed by a PCT of Anabolic Xtreme’s Advanced PCT for 4 weeks. I have decided to use this for pct as 3-AD is supposedly a mild compound and it was specifically designed as the PCT for 3-AD. I will of course have nolva at hand incase of gyno – or if I feel the Advanced PCT is not helping me to recover from the cycle as efficiently as nolva. So…

Weeks 1-3: 3-AD @ 4 caps per day
Weeks 4 – 7: aPCT @ 3 caps per day.

Other supplements: whey, omega 3 caps and a multi vitamin.

Diet

Diet will be between 3500-4000 calories per day.

Not one for number counting at all, so the above calories will come from the following:

Whole eggs, turkey, mince, cheese, milk, whey, pasta, oats, wholemeal bread, olive oil, broccoli, spinach, apples and bananas

Supplemented with: Omega 3 (7x1000mg caps per day)
Multi vitamin

Training

Hard, heavy and balls to the wall. I just go until I’ve blasted my muscles to a pulp.

Nothing is set in stone in my training. When I say I’m gonna do x amount of sets I usually do more or less, plus I always mix up my exercises so I’ll just put in what I train on what days and fill you in as I go along. I try and train each body part twice every 8-9 days.

Cycle progess/commentary

I will attempt to update everyday with as much detailed info on diet, training and of course effects the 3-AD is having etc…and will update weight each week for 7 weeks.

At the end I shall make a final review including: strength gains, mass gains, mental/psychological effects, side effects etc…again as detail as possible.

I will then continue the log throughout PCT, again with as much detailed info on diet, training and how PCT is going in general…with weekly weight updates too.

Feel free to ask any questions. Please don’t criticize or flame as I want to keep this journal on topic, i.e. me and my experience using 3-AD, not a bombardment of ‘…why are using designer steroids at your weight?’ questions. Ok?!

Thankyou!

Cheers mate

First workout last night on 3-AD: had a really good back session - deads, bent over over rows and one arm t-bar rows. The only thing of note was insane forearm pumps, which are still apparent now.

I don't expect to 'feel' any different for at least a few days, and i'm thinkin i should probably begin to see changes around day 7. Hopefully earlier :)

Oh, and my facial hair seems to have grown in a bit quicker. It doesnt grow quickly at all but i seem to have about 2 days growth overnight, which is abit odd!

Diet so far today has been good, although i did get up late so i've only just taken my second dose. Will keep you updated.

From a purely selfish point of view, could you keep a log of the weight you're shifting and if possible your weight including rough bodyfat measurement? It would be nice to see how much your lifts are going up each week, as well as how your weight changes.

RE: 3-AD Log - Sponsored by Muscle Finesse! - 26 May 2008 18:45
Staring weight: 11st 1lb (155lbs)

Last night back workout

Deadlifts - 12 x 80kg
8 x 90kg
6 x 100kg
3 x 105kg

B/O rows - 12 x 35kg
10 x 40kg
8 x 45kg
4 x 50kg

One arm t-bar rows - 12 X 15KG
8 X 17.5KG
3 X 22.5 KG

Shrugs - 15 x 55kg

Day 1: 26/5/2008

Today's diet

One cheat meal today

Woke up at 11am - 30g whey
11:30am - 6 eggs + 3 wholemeal toast + 100g oats + 1 pint milk + multivit + 3 omega caps
2:30pm - 2 turkey steaks + 150g pasta + 100g brocolli + apple + 1 pint milk + 3AD
5:30pm: 14" garlic bread with cheese + 2 chicken burgers + 1 pint milk

Planned meals:

8pm: 150g oats +half pint milk + 3 eggs + 1 turkey steak + 50g brocolli + 3 omega 3 caps
10:30pm: 150g oats + half pint milk + 50g whey + 2 apples + 3AD

10ml olive oil taken with each meal from 2:30pm onwards.

I am a typical 'hardgainer' and it takes the above to get my weight up, even at a 11 stone. When i was at 12 stone i had to eat even more!

One thing i forgot to say is that my post workout meal never ever goes down well and never has done, i literally always have to force it down, yet last night i actually found it easy to consume and didnt feel sick.

I hope the 3-AD helps increase my appetite as it sure does take a shed load of food for me to grow!

RE: 3-AD Log - Week one update inside... - 01 June 2008 14:17
WEEK ONE UPDATE

Weight: 162lbs - up 7lbs.

Some of this weight can be attributed to the rebound effect, however im sure some can also be down to the 3-ad, perhaps 3lbs of it.

I dont seem to be holding any water, if anything ive slightly leaned out. Even though im a very low bf i can still see small changes in the abs and chest area.

Strength: As you can see i rboke a few PB's this week so strength is definitely up. Im hoping the same will continue this week, as im thinking this is when the 3-AD will properly kick in (not that it already hasnt!)

Mood: Mood has gotten more elevated as the weeks gone by. Particularly in the 2/3 hours after my 2nd dose of the day.

Pumps: As stated earlier my forearm pumps were awesome from the word go, which has continued throughout the week. I havent felt any noticable pumps anywhere else as of yet, but then again im only 1 week in.

Libido: libido seemed normal for the first few days, but now it seems to be slightly up morning wood is ridiculous!

Negative sides effects:

Testicles have felt slightly less full since around day 3, whether im starting to get shut down i dont know but it is possible even at this early stage.
