Sounds like a decent service. Do you provide this service for people with different dietary requirements? Are these going to be meals stocked in local shops?

Yes it is related to the survey last year. The results from that survey showed that there is a huge demand for the product. Therefore I am now going for it! Please take a look at the site, register if you wish (you will get a 15% discount on your first purchase when we start to sell the meals - planned end of 2008)

The meals will be on sale through a network of gyms across the UK, so keep an eye on naturalsportsnutritionltd.com to find out where you nearest stockist is.

As the meals are still under development, now is your chance to offer your thoughts on what yuo expect from these meals. A section on the naturalsportsnutritionltd.com forum has a section where you can discuss.

The current plan is to introduce two separate ranges: 1st range targeted at people who are bulking-up and wanting to gain quality muscle mass and accumilating minimal fat. The 2nd range is a fat-loss range aimed to minimise muscle loss when dieting to lose body-fat.

Depending how successful the launch is we will look at including other ranges etc... but that is a long way off yet.

This definitely sounds like something that would interest me given that the price was right.

What are the products going to be?
Can you give us a rough macro breakdown of some of them?

i dont understand how this will work in all honesty. everyone had different needs in terms of macro breakdowns etc, some are carb burners some are fat burners. How are you going to mass produce dishes suitable for the vast majority when there really isnt any

whats honestly stopping people from making things in bulk and freezing it themselves? whats your unique selling point in all this?

You do right to challenge the product. You are absolutly right, everyone is different. But that can be controlled through your total calorie intake for the day. These meals are simply a convenient alternative to preparing your own from scratch - which takes time and not all of us have that time to spare, or can cook a decent meal. I know I definately am too lazy to prepare and cook meals - and my cooking skills aint great either.

Please go to the Natural Sports Nutrition forum to continue discussing this topic under the Ready Meals discussion area - then I can capture everyone's thoughts on there.

I have been a little involved with Mike with the initial meal development, so I'm sure he won't mind me commenting. There will be a range of meals, for different meals and different needs like cutting and bulking, plus vegetarians.

Nutritional profile will obviously be different for each meal, and details will be available

I was out running yesterday and got abuse off some 12 year old girls, so I stopped and offered them out.

Eddie. Very very few people follow your philosphy. As you know, not even I do. Most people eat conventional meals and do not work out their macros and calories, indeed you'll have heard me try to disuade people from doing this. Many trainers, myself included, are not all that anal about what we eat, as long as we follow basic rules, which these meals can be a good part of. Most people are busy and do not have time to prepare everything every day.

Time, convenience, ability. Most people do not have the time to do this - I don't. Sure I could find the time out of my limited sit-down-and-watch-TV time each week, which I'm not prepared to give up for more work, especially when I'm tired.

Eddie, you're looking at things through Eddie's eyes, not through the eyes of most other people

How about a 16month old baby, a full time job and a house to look after.

Im lucky to fit training in

I think its a good idea to have an option other than spending time cooking etc and its hope its an option that far better than the usual supermarket ready meals.

It would be nice to have something in the freezer to have when simply you are either too busy or cant be ar8ed cooking.

How much are we talking for each meal?

I like the idea. In the past I ate a lot of ready meal such as Weight Watchers and Steam Fresh. I stopped because I felt they were full of sh*te I didn't need to be eating so if these new meals are 'cleaner' then I'd definately be interested.

Seems interesting..something i might be interested as im really lazy when it comes to making food :D pitta's in the freezer are a life saver...

But anyway seems pointless announcing it when the site is nowhere near ready and you dont even have any meals...
